Description

These writing posters/anchor charts can be used in class or virtually during your writing lessons. All of the definitions are kid-friendly, making it easier for your students to understand what they're supposed to do as they write paragraphs, opinion essays, informative essays, research projects, and narrative stories. Click the preview to get a closer look at the types of definitions I have written.

These writing posters can be used to support student learning in many different ways. You can print them and hang them on your wall, that way students can frequently refer to them during any writing assignment. You can display them individually as each concept is introduced. You can use them to decorate your writing bulletin board.

Or, you can use them digitally. All of the rainbow letter posters are now available on Google Slides. I have added a set of the posters as is, a set of the posters without pictures, and a set of the posters without definitions. That way, if you come across a poster that doesn't quite have the definition you'd like or the picture you want, you can insert your own.

*For now, the only design available in Google Slides are the rainbow letters. If you would like another design in Google Slides, please email me at leahruthlott@gmail.com.

ARE THESE POSTERS EDITABLE?

You cannot edit the titles of posters. You can, however, open up the rainbow letter posters in PowerPoint or Google Slides. Both PowerPoint and Google Slides include a set of posters without pictures and a set of posters without definitions. You can then insert your own picture or your own text box and print them (or use them virtually).

For printing, there are 6 designs (not virtually): color with rainbow letters, color with color headers, color with black headers, black and white pictures with black and white headers, (perfect for printing on colored paper!), black and white pictures with circle letters (also perfect for printing on colored paper), and black and white pictures with watercolor backgrounds.
