    Bundle Item #6:

Writer's Workshop Conferring Quick Reference Guide for Teachers

Conferring with students is a seriously high leverage instructional strategy. No matter the age, having one-on-one conversations with students about their learning builds connections and bridges gaps in understanding. I attended the Saturday Reunion through Teachers College Reading and Writing Project. I was lucky enough to listen to a session by Lucy Calkins herself! I went back to school inspired and created this quick reference guide to keep next to me while conferring with students. It was a huge help! I hope it helps you as much as it has helped me.

    Bundle Item #7:

I created a digital poster to explain and summarize the 6 Traits of Writing and the holistic rubric. I have felt that my writing instruction and student work have improved greatly by using Education Northwest’s Trait of Writing.
