Write the Room Irish Activity

A fun Irish phonics activity that gets children up out of their seats and engaged. Included are 5 different Write the Room activities with decodable words in Irish on flashcards and worksheets. These resources are suitable for Junior or Senior infants in a Gaelscoil, or 1st or 2nd class in an English-medium school.

How does it work?

Simply cut out the flashcards and place them around the classroom, then give the children a worksheet each. They look for the decodable words around the room and write them in the correct places.
