Write the Room - BUNDLE for Writing, Reading, and Composing Rhythms!

Are your students ready to write rhythms but you want a fun, engaging, and creative way to do it? Write the Room is a great way to get your students up, moving, and looking for rhythms that you've hidden around the room! I've included rhythms both right side up and upside down as well as options for tracing, composing, and creating a class rhythm! Three different seasons are included so you can pull this out any time of year! Quickly print, hang, and go! Can easily be used as a centers or substitute activity!

Options:

This resource has many different options which makes it a great deal for year-long use!

• Select which season you'll be using based on the time of year.
• Decide if you'd like your students to use the tracing section (great if they've never written these notes before but can be left out if they've already learned this skill).
• Decide if your students will be doing the composition option.
• Hang the corresponding posters around your room for students to find (All one page posters for ease of printing and hanging).
• After you have explained what to do, have your students search for the posters and copy down the rhythms.
• Once they finish they can read the rhythms with a partner.
• BONUS - have students say their rhythms using a steady beat (or backing track) as one long class song!
