Description
52 task cards to improve your students writing: expository, narrative, opinion and comparing. Each task card has a writing prompt, a funny image that supports the prompt, and directions for the task.
- EXPOSITORY: Students describe how to play a particular sport, or how become a fire-fighter, or what a typical day for a frog might be like.
- NARRATIVE: Students write a story about a bull that got angry, or a tornado that liked to steal, or a scorpion that liked to sing and sting.
- OPINION: Students tell what they prefer, ice-cream or pizza, reading or writing, jumping rope or hula-hooping.
- COMPARING: Students compare two things, explaining two ways in which they are different and three ways in which they are the same. A laptop and a smart phone, a lamp and the sun, a bicycle and an automobile.
