Write a Biography - Mary Anning: Fossil Hunter (or any other person)

Looking for a biography pack for writing? This one includes a passage focused on Mary Anning, but the writing pages can also be used for any person!

We study fossils, dinosaurs, and prehistoric life at our grade level. As part of this study, we read about Mary Anning, the fossil hunter, and write a biography of her life. You can find several great books about her from Amazon (just search for Mary Anning). Some are picture books and others are longer. In this pack, I have included a four page passage about her life. Students should take notes as they read about her in the Biography Notes pages (copy them back to back). They then convert their notes to separate paragraphs, one per section. Students can then use any of the writing pages (5 pages are provided) for their final copy of the biography.
