- A Google Doc with Research Links (for back up)
- Editable Student Project Sheet with Research and Final Project Requirements
- Student handouts for note-taking and source citation.
This resource contains everything you need for this project!
For this project, students will select a world theatre to research. Using the digital World Theatre Notetaking Card and MLA Citation handout, students will research the following topics:
History of the World Theatre
Cultural Impact or Social Influences
Actors, Costumes, Makeup, Masks
Unique or Interesting Characteristics
After conducting research and saving relevant images, students will showcase their learning by creating a World Theatre Google Slides presentations.
Included is an editable World Theatre Final Project Student Handout that lists project requirements with a suggested slide outline for the World Theatre presentation.
Slides from Student Project Examples are included to motivate students and to serve as a model!
This resource includes a pdf file with Google Drive resource links and a description on implementation. All materials are digital but can be downloaded and printed for teachers preferring a paper copy. Students will need to access the World Theatre Research Google Site. The link is provided in the resource guide.
An editable World Theatre Slideshow Presentation Rubric is included for assessing students’ research projects.
