Word Wall Live! Vocabulary Review Game -Career, Employment Skills, Job Interview

Word Wall Live! A new spin on traditional word walls. Students love this game, an interactive review that plays much like traditional "Heads Up" or "Pyramid" games. Teams compete to see who can guess more concepts and phrases used throughout the unit! Still want to incorporate your word wall? We have that covered, too!

Who It's For:

Grades 6-12 students of Career Development, Career and Technical Ed, Family and Consumer Science, Business; Counselors

How it's Used: With little to no preparation you can have your students interacting and showing their excitement in a matter of minutes, while demonstrating what they have learned. You only need a projector and connected computer along with the attached files for review of Employment Skills/Job Seeking concepts, those usually studied in Career Development. Student teams will choose a "guesser" who sits underneath the projector screen, unaware of the words above. Teams will run through one-minute rounds, trying to give clues and hints to elicit the correct responses, while minding a few rules for the clue-givers, such as "no saying any part of the word" and "no stating what letter the word starts with". It takes no time for students to catch on, and they will be asking to play Word Wall Live every time there is a unit review!

What's Needed:

Computer, projector, screen, digital timer, and these downloads! Presentation version requires MS-Powerpoint, but can be downloaded, then opened in Google Slides and formatting remains the same!
