Word Book for Independent Writers

Word Book. Student Dictionary. Spelling Word Book... whatever you may call this GEM of a tool is exactly what you need in your classroom! This student Word Book is a MUST HAVE for any primary classroom. According to the new CCSS, students must demonstrate conventions of standard English.

This individual student Word Book will help your students become INDEPENDENT writers and spellers after this tool is introduced to your class. This Word Book / Word Dictionary will help your students learn to use conventional spelling within their daily writing.

This word book has:

* a total of 60 pages formulated to fit in a 15 page mini-book.

* letters from A - Z with commonly used words that students need for their daily writing activities with many additional lines to add words your students would like to learn to spell or words from your word wall/weekly lessons

* after the letter Z in the word book, there are pages/words for Months of the Year, Days of the Week, Family members, Colors, Numbers, Holidays, Money, Dinosaurs, Contractions, and a comprehensive list of Animal names.
