Description
This craft pack is a great way to support your Native American unit!
The canoe is very realistic looking! This Canoe Craft includes 3 different canoe templates and easy-to-copy pictographs.
The homes of the Eastern Woodland Indians included Wigwams (also known as birchbark houses). These dwellings were made of wooden pole frames covered with woven mats and sheets of birchbark. This Wigwam Craft includes 7 templates; 6 with different ‘thatch’ finishes, and 1 blank template so you can design your own ‘thatch’.
These crafts are flexible enough to allow you to adjust the difficulty level to the abilities of your students. Great craft to use with various themes such as Thanksgiving, Pilgrims, Native Americans, Westward Expansion, boats, homes. Have fun with it!
Materials needed: card stock, scissors, glue, clothes pins or paper clips (these last 2 are helpful during gluing but not required)
