This Bulletin Board set is created to supplement the McGraw Hill Wonders reading curriculum for 4th Grade. The Bulletin Board, or Focus Wall, is designed to give students a place to locate the reading skills and strategies for the week, Essential Question, vocabulary & spelling words, and grammar skill. The Focus Wall is for all 6 units of the curriculum!

This set is aligned to the 2020 and 2023 publication years of Wonders. Please check the publication year of your curriculum before purchasing. Some schools are continuing to use the 2017 version. The 2017 Focus Wall can be found here:
How to access:
- Open the zip file.
- Choose the Focus Wall that matches the publication date of your curriculum. Both 2020 and 2023 are included.
Headings:
The Focus Wall includes headings that can stay on the bulletin board all year long. The headings are:
- Essential Question
- Genre
- Reading Strategy
- Reading Skill
- Shared Read
- Main Story
- Paired Read
- Vocabulary
- Vocabulary Strategy
- Spelling
- Grammar
- AND title words for your Focus Wall in all 4 designs. Words included are weekly, focus, wall, ELA, and Wonders. These words can create a variety of titles like "Focus Wall," "Wonders Focus Wall," "ELA Wall," "Weekly Focus," etc.
Inserts:
The inserts are created in printer-friendly black and white. They are specifically created to align with each story, so they will be changed weekly. For example, the Reading Strategy for Unit 1, Weeks 1 & 2 is Reread. The Reread insert reads: Reread - read the text again to gain understanding or get more information. The Reading Strategy changes to Predicting in Unit 1, Weeks 3 & 4.

These packs include everything you need to teach the Main and Paired Selection, important reading skills and strategies, vocabulary, and spelling. The supplements have been created with care to specifically align to each Wonders lesson. They include story specific details and are not generic in nature. They include interactive notebook pages for in-person learning, as well as Google Slides for virtual learning.
