Wonders 1st Grade 2023: Unit 5 BUNDLE Supplement with GOOGLE Slides

This Wonders 2023 Grade 1 pack is created to supplement Unit 5, Weeks 1-5:

3. Thomas Edison, Inventor
4. Whistle for Willie
5. Building Bridges

The reading responses and interactive notebook pages focus on the Literature Anthology (Main and Paired Selection), Vocabulary, and Spelling sections of the curriculum. Students must have access to the McGraw Hill Wonders Literature Anthology. Complete answer keys are included.

These supplements are designed to be engaging to students, yet rigorous. The fonts are interesting but easy to read, interactive notebook pages are included, and students are given opportunities to color and cut & paste. There are options for differentiation in the supplements. Some pages are designed for students ready for a challenge, while others offer more support.

Because first graders have differing abilities with scissors, the interactive notebook pages are designed as extra practice. They are not necessary to use for students who aren't ready.

However, students who enjoy a cut and paste activity love these interactive pages! The flip-flap pages in this lesson can be glued into spiral notebooks, onto notebook paper, or onto construction paper. Your students will love this new way of showing their learning!

(The interactive notebook pages are not available as Google Slides, as they require students to color, cut, and paste.)
