Showcase women's history in your classroom with this timeline resource! Perfect for Women's History Month or throughout the school year, this printable timeline includes major milestones in women's history from 1760 BCE to 2020. This timeline works great as a student reference or anchor chart!
This resource includes two versions: a timeline poster set with information about 26 featured milestone events, and another with blank spaces that students can fill-in! In this version, students can select or be assigned a milestone event (26 in total) and research it. This makes for a fun and interactive activity: students love helping complete the finished timeline and seeing history come to life! Students will gain an appreciation for the contributions of women throughout history, and the long journey for equal rights.
Each version is also provided in two sizes! The full-size version spans about 18.5 feet, while the smaller version spans about 11.5 feet. If you would like a shorter timeline, events can be easily omitted at your discretion. The timelines are super easy to print and assemble - no prep is required! For your convenience a teacher note with directions and a table of contents are also provided.

All pages are provided in the standard 8.5x11 printing size. You can print the posters on a heavier cardstock paper or laminate them to improve durability.
