Description
Looking for an engaging interdisciplinary lesson plan for Women's History? This math and history task card activity is a great print-and-go addition to your lesson plans. Students review the facts about famous American women as they complete math problems for upper elementary school and middle school. This versatile resource can be used for Women's History Month but can be used for other appropriate times in your math and American History classes as well.
The task card format allows the 15 cards to be printed and placed at stations for group work, but also can be projected for use as bellwork, for example. In fact, consider using the cards for:
- Exit slips and entrance slips
- Gallery Walks
- The basis for games, like Scoot
- Math or History Centers
- Learning Structure Activities
Cards can be copied, cut apart and laminated for durability. Easily store in small plastic or bags!
