Description
Before the nation shut down in 2019 due to the pandemic, there was a women's march in Mexico. They were protesting machismo culture and gender-based violence. I created this interactive notebook to talk about this issue with my 7th graders. It includes vocabulary worksheets, articles to annotate, TedTalks to watch, poems to analyze, and music videos to introduce. This is a sensitive topic, so I recommend talking to your department head and inform your parents beforehand. I hope that you can use this resource and that your students can learn about feminism from it.
