Description
Witches of Thornwood is an interactive, ELA-focused variation on the traditional social studies "React to the Past" project.
Set in a fictional colonial town in a world where magic is real and dangerous, students will be assigned roles in the village and use many different English skills to persuade others on whether or not they should legalize witchcraft.
The recommended time for this project is 2 weeks with 45-minute classes. The project is highly modifiable and works best with highly creative classes.
