This set of 45 quotes from ancient history spans from about 4,000 B.C. to the first century. Two sets of the quotes are provided in each resource. One is a dotted font with arrows to help students who are still working on correct letter formation. The second set has the dotted font but no arrows for those students who are consistently forming their letters correctly. Both sets provide lines for students to re-copy the quotation without the tracing font.

This resource could be used over the course of a year's study on ancient history or could be used in a more concentrated way over a shorter time period. It includes a short article on the usefulness of copywork in education.
