Winter Song & Dramatization | Snow Song | Original Song mp3 Only
- Mp3 Audio File
Description
This original singing dramatization for elementary classroom music is fun and perfect for reinforcing melody and rhythm. The short 8-measure song contains only the notes sol and mi and the rhythms of ta, ti-ti and rest. The song is short and sweet, and the dramatization of the wind and snow provides an opportunity for all students to participate at once. The song repeats once on the recording. Recording Length 1:05
Instructions:
(1) Assign one person to play the part of the wind. Everyone else plays the snow.
(2) Measures 1 and 2: Children playing the snow move hands from above the head to the ground mimicking snow falling gently to the ground.
(3) Measures 3 to 10: The wind approaches the snowflakes - blowing and waving arms about. The snowflakes begin to swirl around the room.
(4) Measures 11 and 12: The wind walks away and the snowflakes resume the same gentle falling action as in #2 above.
