This fun activity targets:

CVC WORDS

H – INITIAL

M - INITIAL, MEDIAL. FINAL

B - INITIAL, MEDIAL. FINAL

P - INITIAL, MEDIAL. FINAL

N - INITIAL, MEDIAL. FINAL

THREE REWARD ACTIVITIES LINKED TO EACH SOUND (building a turkey, building a scarecrow, creating a trick-or-treat scene).

Suggested activities for targeted words, phrases, and sentences:

1. For each task page, have the student say one word a predetermined number of times (i.e., 1 - 10 times) and then put a star on the picture. Have kids use words in phrases and sentences and put a star on the picture(s).

2. When all pictures are covered on a task page, kids get to choose one of three rewards (i.e., building a snowman, building a snow globe, and decorating a gingerbread house).

**When building a building a snowman, building a snow globe, and decorating a gingerbread house, kids could be working on counting, colors, sequencing, descriptions, expanding sentences, and other important academic and language skills.
