Illustrations from E.H Shepard in each chapter.

I have included student generated questions at the end of some chapters. One question is a character study.

Your class will fall in love with Winnie-the-Pooh and all of his friends. The writing is heart-warming and very funny. I have read this story with grades 3-7 and with my adult students. The characters all work well together: Pooh is humble, Piglet wants to be brave, Owl can be a know-it-all, Christopher Robin is the arbitrator in the forest among Pooh and his friends, Eeyore is depressed, Rabbit is tricky, Kanga is worried and Roo is energetic. Pooh Bear also writes mini poems and songs in some chapters. All ages have laughed and smiled at the adventures of Winnie-the-Pooh as he navigates the world around him. I have read this story in class and online.

I hope you and your students will enjoy reading Winnie-the-Pooh.
