Where are the French Fries? - An Intro to French Food

This lesson is designed to be an introduction to the culture of France. This lesson revolves around a webquest I created to allow students to explore the varieties of French food and how their traditional foods differ from the foods they are accustomed to. The lesson includes important vocabulary for students to learn, a webquest/research piece (website included), and a culminating assignment. The culminating assignment is the creation of a menu using what they have learned and a simulation where they must be diners or waiters in a French restaurant and properly order / take orders in French.
