What educators are saying

Good social story for wearing vests. It relates them to being like a cape for a superhero or wearing a vest as a police officer.

Description

This is a social story written to encourage children to wear their weighted and/or pressure vests. It -gently explains why it's so important to wear them and why they might *feel* a little different to them. The story encourages the child to be brave and keep the vest on until an adult tells him/her it's time to take it off- or a timer tells them. Through large, crisp images, the story demonstrates that many people wear vests- super heros, policeman, and even some of their favorite characters- like Paw Patrol!
