When I Grow Up Activities | Occupations and Careers | Writing Art Math

What do your children want to be when they grow up? These fun activities are wonderful to use during your community helpers or careers unit, but they can also be used anytime during the year because children always love thinking about what they want to be when they grow up! There are many different activities to choose from. You can have your students practice their writing skills with five differentiated writing prompts, or they can practice their math skills with a fun occupation class graph and corresponding greater/than less than worksheet. The biggest hit in my class always seems to be decorating the blank page topper to represent their desired occupation! When glued onto the top of their writing page, this project makes such a cute classroom display especially during your “Back to School Night” or “Career Days.”
