Description

This is a 1-page reproducible overview and double line graph showing the decline in maximum sea ice each year in the Arctic and the Antarctic regions followed by a few practice questions to help student show understanding of graphs and the problem with the ice melting. Graphs are an integral part of education and real life, so teaching our students and assuring mastery is a crucial part of education, especially in science! Also important is for students to understand the negative effects humans are having on the planet so we can learn ways to improve the future! This is a great introduction, conversation-starter or bell ringer to introduce or reinforce concepts and practice reading a graph! Page 2 is the answer key.
