Description

These is a PDF folder filled with various beautiful templates to help you plan your year. They are designed especially for the art teacher, but can be edited in Microsoft Word to suit your needs. Note: These are blank templates and they are left open for you to plan your own curriculum.

** The files include 6, 7 and 8 class options AND they are editable in Microsoft Word **

I made these because I could never find teacher planners that suited my needs as an art teacher.

Binder Cover

Full Day Plans:
This folder contains calendar-like templates to plan your week at a glance for your entire schedule. There is an option for 6, 7 or 8 period days. You can edit these templates in Microsoft Word to fit your schedule. Delete a row or column, add a period or change the text completely. These are laid out so you can print off the whole week’s schedule on one page, hole punch and place in a binder.

Individual Class Weekly Plans:
If you would like to organize your plans by writing out a weekly plan, rather than individual daily plans, use these templates. There is an option for 6, 7 or 8 classes. You can edit these templates in Microsoft Word to fit your needs.

Art Media Framework:
These templates make it easy to see your goals at a glance. Make sure all of the skills you want to teach are planned and documented. Create a scaffolded curriculum with each year building upon the last. There are blank templates to plan out your clay, drawing, graphic design, painting, printmaking, sculpture and weaving goals. Using Microsoft Word, you can edit these templates if you teach different subjects, delete rows if necessary and directly type in the sections. You can also simply print these out and write your plans by hand.

Year at a Glance:
Use one of these for each class or subject you teach. Write down the major concepts, themes or projects you would like to teach each month of the year. Every month is included (for year-round schools.) This file is editable so you can remove months that you don’t need.

Meeting Notes:
Print off several copies of this PDF and put in your binder to take notes at staff or parent meetings. Sorry, these are not editable.

Notes for the Substitute & Substitute Information:
Print this PDF and write daily notes and information for the substitute teacher.

** New designs will be coming soon! **
