What educators are saying

I loved these! I didn't have to stick with just one type of writing; I could do a variety each day! That kept the kids on their toes and engaged!

Description

This Weekly Writing Set (Volume 1) includes one quarter of the year (9 weeks- 3 months) of daily writing practice. Students are exposed to all four types of writing (expository, informative, argumentative, and narrative/creative) each week, with writing tips, rubrics, & reflections to help write effectively. Each set is designed to have students write 10-15 minutes each day, including the pre-write/brainstorm section. The last day of the week is designed for reflection, using the CCSS aligned rubric and goal setting slides. Each writing board, with its unique prompt, has built in Internet timers, with and without music. The only way for students to become better and more confident writers is to WRITE EVERYDAY. Student writing becomes easier, faster, and stronger by implementing Weekly Writing Sets! Approximately $1.50 dollar per weekly set! Check out the 1:30 second video preview.
