What educators are saying

I love The Peanut Circus's webquests & used them when I was teaching SS. This year, I used them as the basis for a research presentation -- it was a more fun way to conduct research and helped them generate other questions they wanted to explore.
I was able to modify this & use with my kiddos during distance learning. They enjoyed learning the material & I enjoyed the resource being already made. Thank you!

Description

Your students will enjoy being "web detectives" with this web scavenger hunt activity about the Maya, Incas, and Aztecs.. Students will use the provided website to look up the answers to twenty questions about each of these three ancient civilizations (sixty questions total).

This resource contains the following three resources at a discounted bundle rate:

Website Sleuths- The Maya

Website Sleuths- The Incas

Website Sleuths- The Aztecs

Space is provided under each question for students to write the answers in their own words. An answer key is also provided for teacher convenience or to allow students to check their own work.

This activity works well independently or with a partner. It also makes a great literacy/computer station activity.

After your students have completed the web searches, they could then complete the graphic organizers to show facts they have learned in a decorative way.

On these organizers, students could:

a. record facts they learned in their web search

b. record facts NOT on the question sheet (other facts)

c. record facts they found most interesting

d. record facts from a different website provided by you

The graphic organizers can be colored and make a great bulletin board display when done!

Please see the thumbnails and individual product listings for sample pages.
