Description
Student viewing guide for Episode 3 of the PBS series We Shall Remain: Trail of Tears. This is Episode 3 of the series and deals with the Cherokee Nation's attempts to keep their land while the State of Georgia and the infamous actions of Andrew Jackson try to thwart their efforts, leading to the forced removal known as the Trail of Tears.
The viewing guide contains a short vocabulary to review prior to the film and 14 questions to answer while viewing the video. The activity contains three higher-order thinking question to answer once upon the completion of the video. The activity is aligned with CCSS and provides a great culminating review of the video.
*Reviewing the key terms prior to film will aid in better understanding of the topics discussed in the video.
