Description

One of my most requested social stories! Living in a world with COVID-19 can be confusing enough even for us adults, so there is no wonder our students/children are feeling overwhelmed. Isolation rules are different all around the world, so I have created this social story with that in mind. It mostly touches on the basics of:

- What is isolation?

- Who is a close contact?

- When do I need to get tested?

- What is a Rapid Antigen Test?

- When can I go to school?

- Adults using the latest health advice/asking a health professional.

- Things I can do at home during isolation.

With gorgeous clipart from Whimsy Clips: https://www.mycutegraphics.com/

and Educlips: www.educlips.com. I have used images that are simple and easy to understand. Paired with a lovely font from 'Graphics From The Pond' and the odd shapes creation on a Pages document!

This time I’ve not included page numbers, as I feel you don’t have to have them in that order if you feel it doesn’t make sense. Also means you can take parts out and not include them.

I hope you and your family find this social story helpful in understanding isolation.
