Description
As we transition to culturally sensitive Thanksgiving Day instruction, and accurate depictions of Native American communities, its important to show students the beauty in other cultures! "We Are Grateful: Otsaliheliga" by Traci Sorell is an amazing book that focuses on the Cherokee tradition of finding gratefulness in every season, in every day! This resource is meant to be coupled with "We Are Grateful: Otsaliheliga" by Traci Sorell and provides students with their own place to reflect on their Mother Earth and her 4 seasons! Students draw a picture to represent what they are thankful for each season and write a few sentences below to elaborate.
Resource comes in a Google Slides option. Just print and distribute, or upload to Google Classroom!
