Ways & Traditions - Girl Scout Juniors - "Girl Scout Way" - All 5 Steps!

Juniors learn how to use Girl Scout ways and traditions to make the world a better place with this all-in-one activity book. Girls may complete the book independently, or work together in pairs or small groups.

This printable paper activity book is designed to fulfill Junior Girl Scout Way badge - Steps 1-5 with minimal supplies, ink, and time. "Ways & Traditions Activity Book" may be worked within the troop setting or at home by a single girl with little-to-no adult support. Please note that this activity book is not meant to replace the Girl Scout Way badge guide from Junior: The Girl's Guide to Girl Scouting, but to supplement it. While the Girl Scout Way badge guide is not required to complete "Ways & Traditions Activity Book", having a copy on hand for girls to review may aid them in better understanding the overall concept of the badge. "Ways & Traditions Activity Book" may take one to two meetings to complete, depending on the length of the troop meeting(s) and the level of thought and detail girls put into the activities.

"Sing for Fun" --> Step 1 - Choice 1: Find lift-the-spirit songs, Choice 2: Pick songs for a ceremony or gathering, and Choice 3: Make up a song to share a message.

"Plan a Birthday Bash" --> Step 2 - Choice 1: Celebrate the Girl Scout Promise.

"Try a Badge from the Past" --> Step 3 - Choice 3: Sisters across time.

"Create a Walking Tour" --> Step 4 - Choice 3: Make a walking tour for your community.

"Play Kim's Game" --> Step 5 - Choice 1: Try a tradition from the past.
