Treva ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Extremely Satisfied

This resource was great for a review of where water can be found on Earth and whether it is solid or liquid.

This resource is for 2nd grade and is aligned with NGSS Earth Systems:

NGSS 2-ESS2-3. Obtain information to identify where water is found on Earth and that it can be solid or liquid.

It also aligns with 2nd grade Utah SEEd 2.1.3 Develop and use models illustrating the patterns of landforms and water on Earth. The model could depict water in the solid or liquid state. Examples could include a mountain with a glacier, a stream feeding into a lake, a bay environment, or an ocean surrounding a continent. (This resource really focuses on where water is and in what form. I have another resource that is more focused on landforms)

Landforms and Bodies of Water Close Read, Lab and Game NGSS 2-ESS2-2

There are two science experiments/labs included in this resource and four pages of nonfiction passages with scientific information.

The sorting cards and task cards can be used as centers or for fast finishers.

Students will participate in a variety of activities that will help them understand about water on Earth.
