Challenge your students to design and build a water slide out of cardboard tubes, clear tape, aluminum foil, a plastic bowl, drinking straws, cardboard, and a marble. An exciting parameter of the End of Year or Summer STEM challenge is to design and build a water slide that has a ladder and at least one turn or twist, as well as be able to move a marble from the top of the slide to the plastic bowl quickly but safely.
