Description
Embark with your students on this research project on the USA capital, Washington DC and create an amazing lapbook with all the engaging activities included in this resource !
As an introduction, they will discover some of the famous monuments in the city with a matching activity and will put a name on the faces of some of the presidents.
The research project will lead them to:
• the White House
• the Washington Monument
• the Lincoln Memorial
They will also do research on the basic facts and numbers of the capital.
Washington DC is also the place where presidents live that is why I have included a research worksheet on presidents.
All this information will be precious for them to create their lapbook. Detailed instructions provided for teachers to make one, especially if it is your very first. For you not to waste precious time, you will find all the pictures in color. For your students, just copy the black and white ones.
