What educators are saying

This is my favourite visual schedule for the task of handwashing - easy to follow even for my 3 year old ECSE students. I laminate them and put them above each sink.

Description

This is a left to right step by step visual sequence of how to wash hands (visuals are from boardmaker). The 6 steps fit across one sheet of landscape paper so it is optimal for hanging on the wall above a sink in a bathroom.

The 6 steps are:

-Wet hands

-Get soap

-Rub hands

-Wash off soap

-Dry hands

-Throw away garbage

This is a good visual to help students become more independent in the hand washing process and not require so many verbal prompts from us. Great for preschoolers or for older kids with more significant disabilities!
