♪ Sing on "He" (or choose "Ah" for the most open vowel sound.) The goal is for students to sing with CLEAR OF TONE. As you play the recording, walk around the classroom and listen for pure tone, not breathy sounds.

♪ Exhale and inhale between each sequence.
Listen to make sure they are truly singing staccato. Model the tone for them so they understand what kind of sound you wish to hear.

♪ The preview is a short selection of the piece. You will be purchasing a full length sound recording that changes keys starting on middle C or the octave down for basses, and moves all the way up to high C and then back down.

♪ Getting physically close to your students while they are singing also fosters your personal relationship with them.
