DAY 1: WWI PPT I am also enclosing a 17 slide weapons of war PPT that goes through all the major weapons covered in the movie. The PPT is helpful in setting the stage for the weapons of war they will be seeing prior to watching the movie.

DAY 1: WWI Weapons Video I have included a short video with the PPT and Warhorse video guide as well. The 17 slide PPT is all about the weapons and includes a note taking guide. At the end of this PPT I typically show the 5" video on the weapons of war as well as the trailer for the movie. (all of which are included as links)

DAY 2-4: WAR HORSE Show the movie. (3 days)

Basic War Horse Movie Guide This 20 question worksheet will give you some accountability for the movie while still making the students think about some of the essential questions from the movie.

Advanced War Horse Movie Guide This 35 question worksheet will give you some accountability for the movie while still making the students think about some of the essential questions from the movie. I have included 5 discussion questions, some quotes to analyze and an essay question.

DAY 4: QUIZ I have added a quiz to this movie as another option for the teacher to assess understanding.
