Wacky Christmas Facts Webquest Worksheets Internet Scavenger Hunt Activity

Your students will have fun learning many interesting facts about Christmas as they reinforce their reading and research skills. Some of the fun facts they will learn are:

Did you know that the U.S. received a huge Christmas gift in 1886? Do you know what Christmas song was the first one to be played in outer space?

There are 15 items for students to answer. The format includes multiple choice, extended response items, and fill in the blank. Kid-friendly Christmas graphics have been added, and a complete answer key is included. This is a great activity for sub plans.

A fun activity to add to holiday party day is to have students watch the Magic School Bus Holiday Special about recycling. Check out my listening response form which helps students focus during this video.

This activity is part of my Fun Christmas Language Arts Activities Bundle.

I also have a fun Christmas Trivia PowerPoint activity!

Students love doing these informational research activities - especially if they get to choose which ones they want to do! Webquests are a very useful activity for fast finishers because students eventually are able to work quite independently at their own pace.

I have many others available on TPT. Some of the topics available are listed below:

Chocolate, ice cream, donuts, macaroni and cheese, candy, wacky animals, ladybugs, lightning, zebras, Sponge Bob®, penguins, butterflies, and more.
