WWII: Japan Strikes in the Pacific Animated PowerPoint and Notes (7.3)

Lesson 7.3 “WWII: Years of Axis Domination” (73 slides) is part of an epic 6-part series (7.1 through 7.6) that covers the entire era of the Second World War and the early-mid 20th century. 7.3 in particular covers: Japan’s war against China; Chiang Kai-shek and the Chinese nationalists; Japan conquers French Indochina; Admiral Yamamoto plans war strategy; the aircraft carriers with accurate map positions; the attack on Pearl Harbor; Japanese aircraft used in the attack; President Roosevelt’s reaction (“a date which will live in infamy”); war declarations; Japan’s seized Guam and Wake islands; Japan seized Hong Kong, Malaya and Singapore; Japan seizes Thailand and Burma; American heroes from Pearl Harbor; American battleships sunk; the Arizona Memorial; the Doolittle Raid; Japan seizes the Dutch East Indies, Japan seizes the Philippines; the Bataan Death March; the Battle of Coral Sea; and the turning point, the Battle of Midway with battle simulation.

I have also created a number of original maps and battle animations that are perfect for this lesson.
