Description

Do your students need guidance in the multiple genres of writing, especially those addressed in the new Common Core State Standards? If so, this is the bundle for you! This "Writing Bundle" includes worksheet outlines for students to use to brainstorm their writing, student sample outlines, and full student sample essays in the following four writing genres: Narrative, Informational/Explanatory, Response to Literature/Poetry, and Persuasive/Argumentative. Also included are other worksheets for student use in brainstorming descriptive essays, summaries, and resume writing (career-related writing). Next, you will receive a one-page student fill-in-the-blank note sheet (with answer key) to prepare students for writing tests in narrative, response to literature, persuasive, and summary writing. Finally, students will enjoy peer revision as they swap essays and revise each other's writing (genres included are narrative, response to literature, response to poetry, and persuasive).
