Description

This is an excellent resource for collecting WA Kids Data for kindergarten. If you are not a teacher required to collect WA Kids Data, these spreadsheets are still very useful for collecting data assessment with all students. I have created a one page spreadsheet for each objective requiring collection of data by means of a checklist. Each spreadsheet describes each objective. The scores and their definitions in detail, are included for quick annotation and reference. These data collection sheets are ready to use for performing on the spot assessment collection, while observing or working 1:1 with students. Simply add your class list to the first column and you are ready to begin collecting your Data in a very simple and convenient format.

Count to 100 by ones and by tens.
Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
Count to answer “how many?” questions about as many as 20 things arranged in a line, a rectangular array, or a circle, or as many as 10 things in a scattered configuration; given a number from 1-20, count out that many objects.
Directly compare two objects with a measurable attribute in common, to see which object has “more of”/“less of” the attribute, and describe the difference. For example, directly compare the heights of two children and describe one child as taller/shorter.
Classify objects into given categories; count the numbers of objects in each category and sort the categories by count.
