Voyaguer's Paddle - Fur Trade Simulation and Strategy Game

Voyageur’s Paddle is a strategy and trade simulation set in the world of the early fur trade. Players each represent powerful fur trading companies who braved the wilds of the New World in search of lucrative animal pelts which were at times worth more than their weight in gold.

This simulation game was developed in the classroom over a period of many years using both teacher and student feedback. It can be played by groups of 2-4 players and is primarily intended to be used as a study game where students answer questions about the fur trade while learning about how the trade actually worked by experiencing it in the game.

The game includes everything you need to start playing;
- A large-sized game map
- Cards formatted to be printed on stick-on Avery labels
- A detailed rulebook with an appendix explaining each card and rule
- The tokens and playing pieces.

All game components are in print-and-play format. Some initial set-up and cutting out but the only thing you will need to supply are some eight and six-sided dice. This game also comes with support from a classroom teacher who has played it during you first deployment.
