This was the perfection addition to our room transformation for shape surgeons. The kids loved performing vowel surgery on each of their patients.
Description
Vowels are such a hard concept for kids every year! I came up with this fun and engaging way to get students to practice CVC words. Turning your classroom in to a "surgery" where vowels are missing and patients are sick. Students have to fix the words! Every detail of how you would pull this off is included in this unit!
This unit includes:
-Five patient signs to display on different tables.
-Five different patients with six CVC words each. Each CVC word is missing a vowel.
-A chart for each “patient”.
-2 sets of vowels for each patient to match up at each station
-Set of editable labels for manila folders.
-Edible Hospital sign to display.
-Directions for Doctor Kit Snack
