Description

Looking for a fun way to practice finding the volume of prisms and cylinders? This self-checking mystery picture reveal is just what you need to level up your worksheets! With little to no prep for you, assign this activity and watch as your students receive immediate feedback while they practice their skills!

Students will:

  • Select a question from the drop down menu
  • Input their solution into the answer boxes. Correct answers will reveal part of the image and incorrect solutions will turn the cell red.

Content features:

  • 12 questions
  • Students will be asked to find the volume of prisms and cylinders
  • Prisms have the bases of squares, rectangles, equilateral triangles, right triangles, regular pentagons and isosceles trapezoids
  • Large format questions make it easier for students to read each question on small devices

This right triangle trig self-checking worksheet is a downloadable pdf which includes:

  • Access to the self-checking Google Sheet (you will need a free Google account to access the file)
  • A printable paper worksheet (with access to TPT's Easel for easy sharing)
  • All answer keys

This resource is great to assign for additional practice or a homework assignment. It also makes a great activity to leave with a substitute since students will be able to check their own work! It is also very easy to share with special education co-teachers or academic tutors.

Are your students tired of boring worksheets? These self-checking mystery reveals entertain students while completing their assignments. Can they guess the picture before they finish?

The best part? Your students will be provided immediate feedback as they practice! This is important to help students become more independent and responsible math students by having them check their own work and ask questions when necessary.
