To effectively support student learning, it’s important to model how to use each graphic organizer. For this reason, I have provided a teaching/example page for each organizer. These pages use animal vocabulary (e.g., herbivore, carnivore, bear, moose, food chain) as the examples. When these organizers are first introduced to students, you may consider reviewing the provided example organizers with them or making your own with your student! Students should be encouraged to refer to the example pages as needed to support them with completing their own graphic organizers.

Organizers are available with and without lines to give you and your students an option for what you prefer! Organizers without lines may be completed using illustrations, written responses, or a combination of both.
