Vocabulary Activities Bundle - Word of the Day Display and Graphic Organizers

This word of the day vocabulary activity bundle comes with daily vocabulary word displays and graphic organizers to help students with their Tier 2 Vocabulary. It comes with a daily PowerPoint slide to display and discuss the vocabulary word. Then, it comes with a daily half-sheet worksheet or graphic organizer (2 level options) for the word of the day. There are 40 words in each of the four packs.

Instructions for Daily Vocabulary Use:

• Present the PowerPoint on your whiteboard or projector screen. The daily PowerPoint has a definition, part of speech, real photograph, and an accountable talk question to discuss.
• After your mini-lesson on the word, students will complete their worksheet for that word. You can choose for your whole class to use Level 1 or Level 2 worksheet. Or you can choose to differentiate worksheets within your class!
  • Level 1: writing the word, finding consonants/vowels, circling the definition, writing a sentence, illustrate the word
  • Level 2: identifying syllables, letters, part of speech, synonym, antonym, writing the definition, writing a sentence, illustrating that sentence.
