Description

Do you have students who may have sensory processing needs, attention difficulties or seem to move or fidget non-stop? Then, this pack is for you! This focuses on 49+ visuals for your students that include various motor exercises that can be performed at a desk or in a small space. The first 22 exercises can be performed in a desk or seat. These 22 exercises can be done somewhat or relatively discreetly (ie: push hands together, stretch to the side,) so other students do not know that student is performing these exercises.

•The other 27 exercises are full body exercises that need a small space but no other equipment. These exercises include proprioceptive input and core strength (ie: plank, down dog, tree pose etc).

•This was NEWLY updated with NEW visuals! However, this resource includes both the old and new visuals for over 90 visuals.

New visuals - color clipart:

–the visuals with names (pages 5-10)

–social stories/directions (pages 11-17),

–additional social stories (pages 18-24)

–a desk visual (pages 25-31),

–a task strip visual (pages 32-37)

–lanyard (page 38-44).

Old visuals - black and white simple clipart:

–the visuals with names (pages 44-50)

–social stories/directions (pages 51-56),

–additional social stories (pages 57-62)

–a desk visual (pages 63-68),

–a task strip visual (pages 69-73)

–lanyard (page 74-79).

This is a perfect supplement to your social emotional and self regulation program. This helps to expand your student's current self regulation toolbox. This gives different sensory motor strategies. This is perfect for general education students but also students with Autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, ADD, sensory processing disorder, and other special needs. This can be used with general education, RTI, MTSS, special education, occupational therapy, speech language pathology, and social work.

This also supports core strength, crossing midline, coordination, gross motor, and motor planning.

I am a school occupational therapist who has a doctorate in occupational therapy. I work closely with special education and general education staff adapting material. This is where I get my inspiration for this material.
