    WHAT'S INCLUDED:

    Introduce the Visualizing Reading Strategy with:

    • Reading Strategy Visuals: This pack includes a full page poster, anchor chart, and half page word wall card. It also includes a double sided bookmark. Similar to the poster, the front side of the bookmark has a student friendly definition of the strategy with an aligning visual, details about how good readers use the strategy, and thinking stems to guide them in actively using the strategy during independent reading. The back side is for students to actively use the strategy while reading.

    Targeted Practice with the Visualizing Reading Strategy:

    • Differentiated Reading Passages and Comprehension Activities: This resource has 2 original differentiated nonfiction and 2 differentiated fiction passages that were written to easily be used with the visualizing strategy (Grade Level Equivalents of 3.0 to 5.0). Each passage comes with comprehension questions, a reading strategy reflection, and 2 graphic organizers.
