Visions and Reflections Project for Senior Year - End of Year Project
What educators are saying
Description
Are you looking for a thought-provoking, heartfelt, end-of-year project for seniors? Say no more! Whether you teach senior ELA, are a senior advisor or counselor, or just have seniors in one of classes, this project will work for you! This completely digital, no prep project prompts students to do the following:
- Read an essay (Everything I Ever Need to Know I learned in Kindergarten) and respond to it (link to essay included).
- Listen to a spoken word poem (Instructions for a Bad Day) and respond to it (link to video included).
- Create a poetic list of 5 things they should have learned by now.
- Write about their legacy past, present, and future.
- Construct a 6-word memoir for their senior year (website for samples included/linked)
- Create a vision board for life after high school (sample + tip sheet included/linked)
- Write a thank you letter to their school
This Google Slides project will serve as a digital time capsule, scrapbook, and introspective examination of seniors' visions for the future and reflections on the past. What a great way to end the year!
