These slides are designed to be used with any video or website for each topic. Suggestions for virtual trips with links are provided in each PDF download or you may insert your own link. Just copy and paste the link and let the adventure begin. Through each virtual field trip students will write about facts learned for each informative/explanatory topic.

1. Before the Field Trip: Engage and Develop inquiry while guiding your students through a predictions activity.
2. During the Field Trip: Select one of the provided resources in the PDF download or choose your own, add it to the Google Slides, and explore with your students! Students will tap into their senses as they record and explain their experiences in a checklist.
3. After the Field Trip: Finish by having students elaborate in a sorting activity. Evaluate as students read and write to summarize their virtual field trip in a paragraph.
